What is included

Hide

Type or paste a secret, pick a photo, choose how it is protected. The result is a PNG that looks and behaves like any other picture.

Split

Turn one secret into several photos so that any k of n rebuild it and fewer reveal nothing at all — not "little", nothing.

Deny

Since 2.1 the image carries no readable structure. A wrong password, a plain photo and a damaged file all fail the same way.

Keep

No server is involved at any point. Your secret exists on your device and in the photos you choose to keep — nowhere else.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a subscription?

No. StegoSafe is a one-time purchase with lifetime updates. There is no server to pay for, so there is nothing to renew.

Is there a Windows or Linux version?

No, and none is planned. StegoSafe is built on Apple's Secure Enclave, Face ID and Touch ID; a version without them would be a different, weaker product. You can try the format in the web demo without buying anything.

Does one purchase cover my Mac and my iPhone?

Yes. It is a universal purchase on the App Store: iPhone, iPad and Mac under the same Apple ID, and Family Sharing if you have it enabled.

What if I forget the password?

Then the secret is gone — that is the point. There is no recovery service and no back door. For secrets you cannot afford to lose, split them across several photos and keep the shares in different places.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com.

Need to send a secret and control it afterwards?

That is a different problem, so it is a different product. WaxSeal is for organisations: the photo carries only a reference, the encrypted content sits in a vault your organisation controls, and you can revoke, expire or limit it after sending. Sold per organisation, recipients free.
