These terms cover StegoSafe (the personal app) and WaxSeal (the subscription service for organisations), both operated by NEXATECH AI EFFICIENCY SERVICES LTD.

Acceptable Use

StegoSafe and WaxSeal are intended for lawful and ethical use only. Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. StegoSafe is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

User Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for the content they encrypt and the security of their encryption keys. NEXATECH AI EFFICIENCY SERVICES LTD. cannot recover lost data or keys.

Prohibited Uses

StegoSafe may not be used for illegal activities, harassment, or any purpose that violates applicable laws or regulations.

Intellectual Property

All software, documentation, and materials provided by StegoSafe are protected by intellectual property laws. Users are granted a limited license to use the software for personal or commercial purposes as outlined in the applicable license agreements.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NEXATECH AI EFFICIENCY SERVICES LTD. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of StegoSafe.

WaxSeal Subscriptions, Cancellation and Refunds

What you buy. WaxSeal Cloud is sold per organisation as a monthly or annual subscription, in US dollars, at the prices shown on the WaxSeal pricing page at the time of purchase, plus applicable taxes. The base plan includes 10 members; additional members are billed per member. People who only open what they are sent (recipients) are free. The WaxSeal apps are free downloads and contain no purchases.

Payment and renewal. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your card details. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until cancelled. We will give at least 30 days’ notice by email of any price change before it applies to a renewal.

Cancellation. You can cancel at any time, without contacting us, in the Stripe billing portal linked from your welcome email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for; until then the service continues in full. After it ends, sending and new invitations are paused, while content already sent can still be opened by its recipients under its own rules until it expires. We do not delete your organisation because a subscription lapsed.

Refunds. Except where required by applicable law, subscription payments are non-refundable — first payments, renewals and additional-member charges alike. You may cancel automatic renewal at any time; service continues until the end of the paid billing period. We may issue refunds or credits at our sole discretion, including for duplicate charges or billing errors. If we terminate your subscription other than for your breach, we will refund the unused prepaid portion.

Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails we will retry and notify the billing email. The service continues during the retry period; if payment is not recovered, the subscription ends as described under Cancellation.

What we cannot do. Content is encrypted on your devices with keys that never leave them. We cannot read it, recover it, or restore access for a lost device; your organisation’s administrators manage devices and revocation.

Privacy and Data Protection

StegoSafe processes all data locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your encrypted data. WaxSeal stores only ciphertext, signed authorization objects and billing references on our servers, never plaintext or keys. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information about data handling.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. WaxSeal subscribers are notified of significant changes at their billing email; other changes are posted on this page.

Termination

These terms remain in effect until terminated. You may stop using StegoSafe or WaxSeal at any time. We may terminate or suspend access to our services immediately, without prior notice.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
